BACKGROUND

Life Changing Church is a Pentecostal Christian Church based in Roodepoort in the West Rand. It was founded in 1998 October 18th as the mother Church of John Aidoo Ministries International. Pastor John Aidoo, who is the head pastor, assisted by associate pastors.

The vision of Pst John Aidoo, and the Church, for that matter, is to realise the full benefits of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, The mission is to ensure the reception, empowerment, enjoyment and propagation of the two parallel truth of the gospel, that is, salvation is spiritual as well as physical or material.

The lack of knowledge of God and His word as directed and imparted by the Holy Spirit, has caused many a Christian to be ignorant of their inheritance in Christ. Consequently, some are spirit-filled but poor for many years, some know they have an inheritance in Christ but don’t know how to appropriate it.

The founder is part of an army of servants of God worldwide who is receiving on daily basis., the revelation concerning the benefits and appropriation of the blessings of God in Christ. It is not a blessing of God to be poor. Jesus has delivered us from poverty, sin and the curse; our portion a riches of God’s inheritance in Christ.

In pursuance to this mission, Life changing church has a long term programme of developing a Christian village with an integrated facilities intended to address the needs in the church and also the community of South Africa.

In the realisation of the mission, it is imperative that resources are required for the implementation of all the projects and programmes. Most of the members of the church are unemployed or live at a subsistence level. This however is a challenge justifying the need for vision and projects to realise it for God will do it.

BELIEVE

The Bible is the infallible, inspired and authoritative word of God to prevail.

In all matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine.

Man was created in the image and likeness of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Jesus Christ, the son of God gave His life, shedding His blood to redeem and restore man to God; there is no another name by which man may be saved except of Jesus Christ.

OBJECTIVES

To develop skills, talents and potential.

To give people purpose of living

Embark on skill programmes and workshop

Organise prayer meetings

To plant and establish Christian crèches and schools in line with the educational policy.

To plant and establish Bible Schools to train and equip disciples for the Lord’s work

Organize short and long-term Bible training programmes

Welfare and medical care of those in need.

Economical empowerment through various vocational training and skill development programmes.

Rehabilitation of drug addicts, alcoholics, HIV/Aids victims and etc.

Feeding and sheltering the hungry, orphan, aged and homeless.

Self-reliance rather than Government dependence
